This world is full of
beautiful people. What's pretty to you might not be to the next person.
The old saying " beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is definitely
true. What is it that you notice or look for (at) when meeting
someone. And is there anything that is a for sure turn off?
For me I'm a sucker
for nice legs and pretty feet in heels. Also like most men a nice ass
is always a good thing. The biggest turn off for me is a nasty
attitude!
So tell me, what is beauty to you?
I used to have a thing for men with muscular arms and legs. Not the big muscles though. He definitely have to be well groomed. As I got older having a fine looking man was not top on my list. Don't get me wrong he had to be attractive but not necessarily fine. As long as he respected me and knew how to treat a woman that's what really mattered. Turn off for me is arrogance.
ReplyDeleteMuscles.....a women that takes care of herself is a very, VERY good thing. That arrogance thing is a big turn off, but I do like someone that has confidence. Anonymous yours are always welcomed. Thank you.
DeleteHonestly, I'm not a one for looks, that's all superficial for me. However he must be presentable. I find that most of the "finest" men are arrogant and self-absorbed. As far as turn offs, if he is disrespectful or just plain old ignorant he will be sent to the next exit!
ReplyDeleteLooks are something that is a "to each his/her own" thing to me. She would have to be attractive to and in my mind that's all that matters. Thanks for your words Jai.
DeleteI was actually just discussing this very thing at work today. The thing that is attractive to me is intellect. I love a man that can stimulate me through conversation and knowledge.
ReplyDeleteIntelligence is very attractive MsDee I would agree with you 100%, but I must say I do like a little pretty with my smarts lol. Thanks for your words.
DeleteMy preference is a tall (6' 2 and up) man with a firm solid build. I am a short woman that loves a big tall stocky man lol. Athletic builds are nice as long as they aren't thin/slim. Mike Sellers' (former Redskin) body is a perfect example of what I like body wise. I am not usually attracted to slim men. I also like big nice hands and a nice smile. Hands are one of the first things I notice when I meet a man. Like you Tracy, I am a sucker for nice legs too...on a man of course lol. Now just because this is my preference doesn't mean that I haven't or wouldn't date a man that doesn't fit this description. If a man is a good man and treats me well, then his physical appearance isn't everything. But like anonymous stated, I do have to find you attractive in some way.
ReplyDeleteTurn offs: Fingernails that are too long, dirty fingernails, overly obnoxious or overly arrogant
I forgot to add that I find a great sense of humor attractive as well
DeleteYes, just because I like what I like that does not mean I would not date someone that does not have those qualities. Thanks ilikewhatisee your words. And if I see any football players around I'll send them your way lol.
DeleteI am a sucker for a tall, well dressed and groomed brother, I like reaching up for my hug. I like Someone who can definitely make me smile and can have an intelligent conversation. Someone who has the brains to go with the brawn. What I cant do is a jacked up grill, poor hygene or cannot speak clear English.
ReplyDeleteI tend to hear many woman say bad teeth are a big turn off lol. What is tall to you Anonymous? Thanks for your words.
ReplyDeleteA man with pretty eyes and a pretty smile is a winner for me. And if he's also funny, I may marry him on the spot....LOL
ReplyDeleteI agree with you K.D. I'm a sucker for a pretty smile. Thanks for your words.
